Curious about Russia

Hello from Brazil.
I've always been curious about Russia, but never really had a friend or a connection there. Your friendly attitude and willingness to help is always impressing me. I'm yet to pay a visit lol
Assuming some of you Stealth peeps are probably like me, and work as a developer or software engineer, what can you tell me about working as a dev in Russia? It it hard to find a job? Do devs get paid well?
Here in Brazil it's fairly easy to find a job in IT, though salaries may not be that attractive. Some people do have real high salaries writing software (not me lol, some day for sure).
